Cookie Policy

Shortly
Revised as of May 28, 2026

GAMEGEARS LTD ("GAMEGEARS", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with Shortly, including https://shortly.show, w2a.shortly.show, the web-to-app landing page https://w2a.shortly.show/trailer/?mid=3, and related pages and subdomains that link to this Cookie Policy (together, the "Website").

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies, web storage, scripts, pixels, tags and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices. It supplements our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Important: you do not have to accept optional cookies and similar technologies. If you reject optional technologies, the Website and web-to-app checkout should still be available, but some convenience, attribution and advertising measurement features may not work. Blocking strictly necessary technologies, including payment security and fraud-prevention technologies, may prevent subscription checkout or related security features from working correctly.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies may be first-party cookies, set by the website you are visiting, or third-party cookies, set by a third-party service used by that website.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, tags, iframes, software development kits, link decoration and other technologies that store information on your device or access information from your device. In this Cookie Policy, references to "cookies" include these similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

2. How Shortly uses cookies and similar technologies

The Website is used for a web-to-app flow: a user may view a trailer or promotional page on the Website, enter an email address, purchase a subscription through web checkout, and then use the subscription benefits in the Shortly mobile application. The Website may show previews or trailers only and may not support full viewing of premium content.

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • to make the Website and web-to-app flow work correctly;
  • to remember information required for checkout, account creation, login instructions and return visits;
  • to process payments, support authentication steps such as 3DS redirects, and prevent fraud;
  • to measure advertising performance, attribute web-to-app installs and purchases, and improve marketing campaigns, where you consent to optional marketing technologies;
  • to remember and apply your cookie choices.

3. Consent and cookie choices

Strictly necessary technologies are used because they are required to provide the Website, checkout, payment security, fraud prevention, account/subscription activation or related security features. These technologies are always active and cannot be disabled through our Cookie Settings.

Optional technologies, such as marketing and attribution technologies, are used only where you consent through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the Cookie Settings link on the Website, where available, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser.

If your browser, device or privacy tools block cookies or similar technologies, some Website features, payment functions or attribution links may not work as intended.

4. Technologies we use

4.1 Strictly necessary and service-operation technologies

These technologies are needed for the Website, web-to-app subscription flow, checkout security and fraud prevention.

4.3 Marketing and attribution technologies

These technologies help us measure advertising performance, attribute installs and purchases, and improve marketing campaigns. They are optional and should be used only where you consent.

4.4 Technologies not currently listed

The inventory above is based on the current configuration of the web-to-app landing page. We do not list Google Analytics, ContentSquare or other analytics/session recording tools for this landing page unless they are added to the Website. If we add or materially change optional technologies, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, request or refresh consent.
